As Vice President and residential construction lender for BankPlus, a full-service regional bank along the Gulf Coast, Nancy Grace has a busy work schedule—and that business doesn’t take a break when she closes the door to her office for the day. The mother of two juggles her work with her family responsibilities, making sure that none of the balls drop between her son’s sports events or her daughter’s gymnastics and that they never doubt her devotion to their needs.
“We are a busy, busy family,” Grace notes, “so we are always on the go. But we do it together as much as possible. I do my best to enjoy every day with them and not take anything for granted. Everything I do is for Landon and Natalee, and I enjoy working hard to give them the very best life I can.”
Granted, Grace’s hard work gives her children the best opportunities, but it also provides them an invaluable example of dedication and work ethic. “All of the work that I do and the hours I put in shows them what a good work ethic looks like and how to work for what you want. I want them to grow up knowing that they should never be afraid to set goals for want they want and to work to achieve them—whatever they may be.”
