As Don and Sylvia Rayfield began planning their home in 2021, they enlisted the talents of Delia Pierce, owner of Lemongrass Custom Home & Design, to work with them and bring their vision to life. Having built the reputation of her firm over the past two decades as one with the highest professional standards, Pierce has a unique approach to home building, and her in-depth design process sets her apart in the custom home building industry. Collaborating with Sarah Bass Interior Design, Pierce and her team at Lemongrass have created homes that pair cutting edge design with functionality that enhances daily life for the homeowners—and the Rayfields felt the strength of that collaboration through every step of their design and build. The result was a work of art that earned the team at Lemongrass Custom Home & Design the privilege of being chosen as the 2023 BCHBA Showcase Home Builder.
Upon approach, the home’s stunning architecture is complimented by gas lanterns that provide function as well as beauty and warmth.
