Community Leader: Tonya Gollotte

In July 2024, Tonya Gollotte became CEO of Baller Dream Foundation, a
501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting children and young adults battling cancer. The foundation’s mission is to ease their journey by fostering meaningful relationships, providing critical support, and inspiring communities.

The name Baller Dream comes from the modern term “Baller,” meaning excellent or spectacular—a reflection of the strength of the young warriors they serve. Instead of patients, they are called Ballers, empowering them to DREAM BIG.

Diagnosed with cancer at 29, Frank DeBlasi had a strong support system but saw many young adults facing their battle alone. He founded Baller Dream Foundation to uplift cancer warriors through treatment and beyond, serving patients up to age 29 and filling a critical gap in resources for those over 18.
