Chef Pete Blohme, affectionately known as “Panini Pete,” has carved out a legacy in the culinary world by blending exceptional food, genuine hospitality, and a deep connection to community. As the visionary behind PP Hospitality Group, Pete operates half a dozen unique concepts, each showcasing his innovative approach to dining.
Among his standout ventures is Sunset Pointe, a “Gulf-to-table” gem on Mobile Bay’s Eastern Shore. Sunset Pointe was lauded as one of Alabama’s hottest new restaurants in 2015. Pete’s portfolio also includes Squid Ink Eclectic Eats & Drinks, a groundbreaking gastropub in downtown Mobile and The Waterfront in Daphne, blending bayfront dining with global flavors and live entertainment. Together with his business partner, Nick Dimario, the duo brings over 60 years of culinary expertise to the table, adhering to their mantra: “We put real food in our food, and we never met a stranger!”
