Bride: Michelle + Josh
After dating for two years, Michelle Melton and Josh Null tied the knot at The Venue at Whiskey Ridge in Silverhill, surrounded by family, friends, and the charm of Baldwin County.
Josh, the owner of Gulf Coast Financial Advisors, and Michelle, a City Planner for the City of Fairhope, also co-host the weekly radio show “Coasting in Retirement with Josh Null” on FM Talk 106.5. The couple first met at a packed trivia night at Tongue & Groove Drinkery in downtown Fairhope. As luck would have it, the only open seat was next to Michelle, and it turned out to be the night before her birthday—something she now calls the best birthday gift ever.
Josh’s proposal was filled with personal and sentimental touches. He proposed at an overlook near Wappapello Lake in Southeast Missouri, a place close to his heart, as it was where his grandparents first met. With stunning views of the Mingo Wildlife Refuge and the Ozark foothills, Josh chose the perfect spot, on his parents’ wedding anniversary, no less. Michelle recalls this “good juju” about the day and place fondly, remarking that the setting felt just right.
